Y'all... I love my camera... I love meeting people, hearing their story, interacting and then capturing the emotion and personalities.

I currently live in Nashville, Brentwood to be specific. I can't get enough of this city, so many amazing restaurants, super cool venues, pretty parks, and awesome people. I moved here 15 years ago to attend grad school at Vanderbilt where I studied Special Education and Behavior Analysis. Following my masters program, I taught for 8 years in Williamson County schools, serving special needs children and their families. My heart beats so strong for these sweet souls and the time I spent with each of them. Each and every child that I worked with taught me something about myself (good and bad)!

While teaching, I started exploring photography on the side... and of course, fell in love the moments I stole with my camera. In 2014, I decided to really do this. I started Jamie Hunt Photography.

In the summer of 2015, I had my first baby. I decided not to go back to teaching and have since been exclusively photographing people.
